DRDO Recruitment 2020 : 167 New Scientist 'B' Vacancies

The report added that male candidates belonging to General (UR), EWS and OBC categories are required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable application fee of Rs 100 online. However, there is no application fee for SC/ST/PwD and women candidates.
Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020 for Scientist B Vacancies?
The DRDO Recruitment 2020 notification issued on the RAC website says that for the 167 vacancies the candidates with the following qualifications can apply:
The above-mentioned degrees must be from a recognized university or equivalent, and GATE and NET scores are also required to apply for the Scientist B DRDO jobs.
Candidates whose final examinations have been delayed and are expecting to achieve First Class after final examination are allowed to submit their degree/provisional degree certificate by 31 August, if they are not able to do so at the time of filling application form.
Those having their essential qualification degree foreign universities should obtain
equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities, Delhi and submit the same on or before 31 August.
The maximum age limit for unreserved and economically weaker section category candidates is 28, while that for other backward class (non-creamy layer) is 31 years. The age limit for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category is 33 years.

- 37 are for candidates with an Electronics and Communication Engineering for which candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- 35 vacancies are for candidates with a t First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
- 31 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science and Engineering.
- 12 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical Engineering.
- 10 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Metallurgy.
- 8 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Master’s Degree in Physics.
- 7 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Master’s Degree in Chemistry.
- 6 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Chemical Engineering.
- 4 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Aeronautical Engineering.
- 3 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering.
- 4 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Master’s Degree in Mathematics.
- 10 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Master’s Degree in Psychology.

Graduate engineers and post graduates in Science including students who have appeared in their final year examination are eligible.
